Lyn Krutzfeldt, RN


Lyn Krutzfeldt is President & Founder of Asura Health Services and AdvantAGE Assist Group. Lyn has over 30 years of leadership experience in Canada in seniors’ living, hospitality and health care to guide Asura and AdvantAGE in its expansion and leadership presence in the industry.

She has lead a succession of positions in the Seniors Living Industry from Director of Care, Director of Operations, Vice President and CEO. She has a strong depth of knowledge in the industry from planning and development, design and program planning, to administration and operations of Supportive Living, Assisted Living, Long Term Care and Home Care. Lyn is passionate in everything she does and is frequently recognized for her innovation in the Seniors Living Industry.

Lyn has previously served as a Board Member of the Alberta Continuing Care Association, chaired the Alzheimer Society of Alberta and NWT for 10 years and was a member of the Board of the Alzheimer Society of Canada for 6 years. She was awarded the Queens Jubilee Medal for her unwavering commitment to those affected by dementia.

Dave Kastelic, CPA, CMA, ICD.D


Dave Kastelic is a highly experienced senior leader who is responsible for providing financial leadership including guidance for all financial processes, management reporting, cash flow management, risk management and strategic planning.

With more than 30 years executive and board director experience in private and public companies, Dave’s leadership roles have included business start-up, acquisition & integration of business units, business development, process improvement, accounting system conversions, public company reporting and compliance.

Dave’s leadership strengths include his ability to build high-performing management teams in line with corporate vision and values. He is best known for his positive and proactive approach to Leadership.

Melody Brackenbury, RN


Melody Brackenbury leads the clinical program at Asura and AdvantAGE. Melody is responsible for clinical quality and education as well as nursing leadership and mentorship programs. Throughout her career Melody has adopted a hands-on approach to supporting an exceptional nursing team that delivers the highest quality of care. Her diverse clinical background encompasses senior care, dementia care, critical care, cardiac sciences and general medicine.

Jodie Madigin, LPN

Director of Clinical Operations

Jodie Madigin graduated from the Georgian College Practical Nursing program in 2006 and has an extensive background having worked in various clinical quality and leadership roles within the organization. Jodie’s 12 years of working in seniors’ living give her the knowledge and background to manage and support the clinical operations of the communities.

Jodie has been an instrumental member of the Clinical Quality Team and her portfolio includes new community start-ups, policy development & management, supporting implementation, deployment and monitoring of approved clinical quality processes and programs at multiple communities. She is a role model and resource to all staff for professional development and clinical competency. 

Riza Gamo

Professional Practice Lead

Riza became a nurse in 2007, after which she taught, supported and guided the next generation of nurses. She worked in the Philippines and Saudi Arabia before coming to Canada.

In Saudi Arabia, Riza was the Head Nurse at the Al Noor in Badr Madina. Then, in 2014, she decided it was time for a new challenge and moved to Canada, where she obtained both her HCA Certification and LPN License.

Since working as an LPN and Care Manager with Asura Health Services and the Advantage Assist Group, she’s received countless commendations from families, residents, staff, and supervisors for her exceptional care and dedication to the well-being of all residents.

Sheri Underschultz

Corporate Accountant

Sheri Underschultz is an accomplished finance and payroll professional with more than 15 years of experience in the field. Having graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Studies & Linguistics, she has since attained the Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification and the Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation. Driven by a desire to provide accurate and useful information, attention to detail and customer service are her cornerstones. With experience in the construction, manufacturing, and health care industries, her experience is balanced and well-rounded. Sheri is committed to staying current with changing trends, processes, and legislation and enjoys any opportunity to use her training and skill set to support the team.

Brody Williams

Recreation Therapist

Brody has been working in the health care industry for over 15 years and has been with the Advantage Assist group since 2014. Brody is a certified Recreation Therapist and a professional member of the Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association. He enjoys working with seniors including people with Dementia in Memory Care. A major highlight for Brody was winning the Alberta Continuing Care Association award “Care Provider of the Year” in 2017. 

Samantha Beaulieu

Office Coordinator

Samantha is an administrative specialist with over 8 years of experience in administration and accounting. In 2016 Samantha Graduated from Human Resource Management at MacEwan University. She is currently working towards her Bachelor of Human Resources and Labour Relations at Athabasca University.


Samantha brings with her an extensive background in hospitality and event management. Her experience in administration and hospitality paired with her education in Human Resources allows her to bring a diverse set of skills to our team as Office Coordinator.



Chayna Broome

Professional Practice Lead

Chayna Broome Graduated from Norquest College Practical
Nursing Program in 2015. Since graduating, she has gained extensive experience working within assisted living, memory care and independent living facilities, as both an LPN and in team lead roles. Chayna has a passion for providing exceptional patient care,
 which is highlighted in her leadership approach.

Chayna leads our clinical quality program by providing
onsite support to our clinical departments. She motivates, inspires, and focuses on the best quality care for residents at our various sites throughout Alberta.
