People & Culture, Staff Recruitment and Management

Managing care staff in seniors’ communities is a critical ongoing concern for owners.

If staffing is handled well, the morale and effectiveness of the staff can have a very positive impact on the quality of care and bottom line of the facility. If handled poorly, it can be a constant stream of headaches with staffing shortages, inconsistent and confusing staffing policies and expensive litigation.

Asura Health is trusted by some of the largest seniors’ community operators in Western Canada to manage all aspects of their Human Resources departments.

Asura Health provides independent HR services for all parts of the employee lifecycle – from hiring, to training, to performance management. We can reduce the HR load on managers with professional services that address any aspect of staffing management: recruitment, compensation, training, performance management and policy development.

By hiring Asura you can get HR advice from a wider perspective. We can ensure your employee policies are in compliance with local employment laws, are consistently applied, and provide clear guidelines for all situations. Support can be provided on an issue by issue basis, or an ongoing contract.
